Eight missions have to be won in each of the three scenarios. Anyone who dares to take part in the legendary campaign has the choice of going off with Arthur and various knights of the round table, accompanying Dietrich von Bern or following in the footsteps of Vlad Draculea. If only it weren’t for the stupid troop AI and the extremely mediocre graphics. But in the last few meters the Firefly team managed to get around the corner and deliver a really exciting real-time strategy game. The badly balanced pre-release version of Stronghold Legends (here our first impression) suggested something bad. And thanks to the well-thought-out game mechanics, it is surprisingly okay. Then came the successor and, thanks to the less well-designed game mechanics, turned into a surprise flop. Once upon a time there was a game called Stronghold and thanks to its ingenious game mechanics it became a surprise hit.
